The software application calculates toll road charges on the basis of the travel distance from an entry point and an exit point on the network. Each route is closely related to a single entry ticket, so it refers to routes with no intermediate toll collection points, such as toll plazas. When a toll plaza is placed along the chosen route, it is necessary to split the route into two in order to calculate toll charges, i.e.: firstly, according to the travel distance from the motorway entry point and the toll plaza; secondly, according to the travel distance from the toll plaza and the motorway exit point.
